Silver prices on Monday jumped ₹619 to ₹95,656 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery rose ₹619 or 0.65 per cent to ₹95,656 per kg in a business turnover of 14,898 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.72 per cent higher at $32.79 per ounce in New York.
