Both the precious metals surged over 3 per cent on MCX to ₹1,67,197 per 10 gm for 24 karat and ₹2,90,716 per kg, respectively, as at 10 a.m. Internationally, COMEX gold rose 2.36% to 5,371.70, while COMEX silver jumped 1.18% to 94.39.
