Silver prices on Tuesday fell by ₹2,411 to ₹2,74,240 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for the July delivery declined by ₹2,411, or 0.87 per cent, to ₹2,74,240 per kg in a business turnover of 2,268 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 2.19 per cent higher at $76.01 per ounce in New York.
